How would policy makers approach congestion if sustainable travel was the goal? What options would be on the table if we considered not just how to get more cars on the road, but instead looked at how to get everyone to work in an efficient, equitable and economical way? What if greening the commute was a high priority partnership between the government and employers that could help boost the UK economy.
